Live endpoints: cursors

Endpoints ending in /live fetch from the platform on demand and return a single page:
To continue, repeat the same request with cursor set to next_page_cursor. Keep the other parameters identical. Stop when has_more is false or next_page_cursor is absent.
Cursors are opaque and short-lived. Do not store them beyond the current session, and do not reuse a cursor with different query parameters. Live requests are metered against your credits. See Pricing and credits.

Background operations

Some requests run as a background operation and return an operation id instead of results. Poll GET /api/data/operations/{id} every few seconds until status is success, no_data, or error.
Completed operations expire 15 minutes after finishing, after which the endpoint returns 404. The response shape is documented on the operation status reference page.

Comparison with the MCP server

The MCP server and SDKs add server-side paging over cached result tables with fixed 100-row pages and CSV export. Those modes are described in Response modes and Pagination. The REST live endpoints use platform cursors instead, which is why page sizes vary by platform.
